Rotherham Family Hubs
Rotherham Family Hubs provide families across Rotherham with the support and advice they need about raising a family, including a range of services to help parents from pregnancy through to their child’s early years and into their teenage years. They also support those with special education needs and disabilities up to the age of 25 years.

Rotherham Libraries
Rotherham Libraries aim to inspire children and families to read together and to provide them with materials and activities to support this. They have hundreds of fantastic children’s books in their libraries for you to borrow for free and their regular library activities are engaging and fun. Many of their libraries hold weekly Rhymetime and Storytime sessions, Lego clubs and special activities to support national events such as World Book Day and National Storytelling Week. Rotherham Museums
Families can engage with our collections, exhibitions, and sites through our programmes of events throughout school holidays. We provide regular activities within our galleries and spaces for families to join in together, as well as providing materials such as our Nelson’s Cub Club backpacks to help you explore our sites.
We have a programme of creative activities and learning opportunities for the whole family.

Nelson’s Cub Club, Clifton Park Museum, Rotherham
Join Little Nelson and his Lion family to explore objects from the museum’s collections and engage with them through stories, songs, and play!
Nelson’s Cub Club forms part of Rotherham Museums family learning provision and is aimed at families with children aged 5 and under. It’s a free session and includes a small drink and snack per child. They meet every 2 weeks during termtime on a Wednesday morning and afternoon.
